Ongoing Events
The Co-op hosts events throughout the year including ‘open farm’ picnics and educational tours. Groups who have visited and enjoyed the farm include 4-H, University of Northern BC, Farm Folk-City Folk, Windsor House School, and the Canim Land Band Elders. The Co-op supports WWOOF and other agriculture and volunteer programs. We are also involved in a badger monitoring project.
One of our main fundraising projects is roasting and selling premium, co-op friendly, and sustainably-produced coffee. We are proud to have Doi Chaang coffee available. We also sell an assortment of greeting cards and other items. From May to September, you can find us at the 100 Mile House Farmers' Market (see below), or you can also email us to purchase items at other times or during the winter months.
Winter Treasures and Green Market
An indoor pre-Christmas market, with donated, used items for sale, as well as produce and baked goods, and other kitchen and garden related items.
Birding Walk
Usually held after Mothers Day, a walk around the farm to welcome the resident and migratory avian residents of the farm. Over 40 species sighted last year!
Seedy Saturday
A pre-spring event consisting of seed exchange, 100-mile lunch, and other garden and agriculture related topics. Check out our new hatchlings!
Womens Solstice Retreat
Local women celebrate the arrival of summer with a weekend of activities and camaraderie.
Open Farm Days
Held throughout the growing season, the outdoor Open Farm days welcome visitors. Families encouraged! Come visit the garden, tour the farm property, and see the new baby farm animals.
